Higher Education
The Head of Careers and Higher Education and two Career Assistants provide support to the students and their parents to make informed decisions with regards to their undergraduate studies, university selections and application process, and their career paths.
Personal statements/essay writing workshops, mock interviews and job shadowing stints are conducted on a yearly basis. Other annual activities such as Higher Education Fair attended by representatives from global universities and colleges and Higher Education Briefing for Year 6 students and their parents/guardians to work through the requirements and procedures for applying to courses in Singapore and international universities are organised.
Universities from around the world are hosted to give talks and set up information stands throughout the year. Career forums are held in school and also in partnership with the other schools in the ACS family.
Former ACS (International) students study at many of the world’s top universities. The combination of a strong IB Diploma score and an extensive CAS portfolio enables our students to successfully apply to universities in Singapore, North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia and Australasia.
In a typical year, we welcome some 100 university representatives from around the world, with the majority of our visitors coming from Australia, Canada, Europe, Japan, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America. To schedule a visit, contact us at UnivisitACS@
