Inter-House Quiz

The school ran its first Inter-House quiz in Term 3. Each House participated in a qualifying round on 20 August in which they needed to answer 10 picture-based questions, 10 general knowledge questions and 10 observation questions based on a one-minute video. All teams competed well, with the results being very close.

The Houses that qualified for the final round were Oldham, Thoburn, LSG and SVM. It was held on 23 August in front of the entire school, with three students from each House participating. This round followed a similar format of the qualifying round, but the students were required to answer 40 questions while having their response times measured. After the scores were tallied, Oldham was declared winner, followed by SVM in second, LSG in third and Thoburn in fourth places.

The quiz had been a good addition to the House programme and enabled a broader range of students to be involved in participating for the coveted end-of-year House trophy.
