Teachers’ Day Celebration 2018

Lights! Camera! Action! The PSP rolled out the red carpet to welcome senior management, teachers and staff to a very special movie-themed Teacher’s Day lunch celebration at the Singapore Swimming Club on 31 August.

In response to the invitation to come dressed as their favourite movie characters, many guests donned elaborate costumes and theatrical make-up to portray famous movie characters such as Edward Scissorhands, Jack Sparrow, Wonder Woman, Wednesday Addams, various Star Wars characters, etc. Even our beloved VP, Mrs Tan Siew Hoon, got into the act and came dressed as a fun-loving minion!

The afternoon’s festivities kicked off with a leather-clad Elvis Presley belting out classic hits such as Jailhouse Rock and Love Me Tender while everyone dined on a sumptuous four-course lunch in the lavishly decorated ballroom. Fun and games galore followed thereafter with a nail-biting movie quiz, impromptu performances by talented dancers and singers including Mr Peter Thompson, Ms Caroline Heng, Mr Rajan, Ms Chang Hung Tho, and Mr Mike Patterson and his colleagues from the PE department plus an exciting lucky draw which saw guests walking away with fantastic prizes contributed by generous and supportive parents.
